Posted in TOP FIVES with tags Daniel Craig, James Bond, Movies, Skyfall on October 22, 2012 by Ross McGJames Bond… DER-DER-DER!! He’s the man, the man with the terrible movie titles! Skyfall. It doesn’t really mean anything does it? But then what does Tomorrow Never Dies mean? Or The Living Daylights? Or, of course, Quantum Of Solace? What the smeg is a Moonraker? Skyfall, while obviously meaningless, is at least a catchy enough moniker and looks good on a poster. Just remember to clean up after them. Continue reading
Top five… Movie Judges
Posted in TOP FIVES with tags Alice In Wonderland, Caddyshack, Cillian Murphy, Film, Judge Dredd, judges, Movies, My Cousin Vinny, Sylvester Stallone, The Dark Knight Rises, Walt Disney on September 20, 2012 by Ross McDJudge Dredd is back. He’s a good judge and all, but cannot fully devote himself to the role since he’s also employed as police officer, jury and executioner as well. Oh, and according to the man himself, ‘I am…. The Law!’ too. Will Karl Urban be able to deliver that line with the same gusto as Sly Stallone? More importantly, will he be able to deliver judgement as judgementally as these guys? Continue reading

Posted in TOP FIVES with tags Gas stations, Movies on September 3, 2012 by Ross McGWe call them petrol stations here because you get petrol at them, but in the US they call them gas stations because you get gas at them. Or something. But who cares what they’re called when they can provide the fuel for a great movie. Here are some cinema gas stations worth filling up at. Continue reading
