Ringu v The Ring
If you read this battle, you will receive a phone call informing you that you will be back on this website in seven days. Or you will read it, think it’s crap and never return to this site again. Either way, it’s pretty horrific stuff, huh? Click HERE or the image above to read this battle at Metro Film Fight Club.

I tend to agree with McD. There aren’t many really good American remakes of east Asian horror, and fewer that better the original. The Ring might well be the only one (but I give a lot of credit to Naomi Watts for being…well…Naomi Watts).

Damn – this is a toughie. THE RING is one of the very few remakes I find worthy of its predecessor (along with THE DEPARTED and LET ME IN), but RINGU, as I mentioned in my latest podcast, creeped me out like few films before or since.
……errr…..I think I’ll pick……RINGU.

Ringu. Sadako scares me more than Donnie Darko’s little sister.

I hate The Ring!! I guess that explicitly tell how I fell between Ringu vs The Ring. The Ring is the reason that makes me avoid any remakes by Hollywood.
I have written by comparison of ringu, the book, the movie and the remake here> http://t.co/u6eSI00 (maybe you’ll to read it)
